Tyler has a variety of eclectic and historic homes that have become iconic landmarks. Tyler is home to seven National Register historic Districts, plus two local overlay districts. There are approximately 138 homes that echo the city's past, and below we have furnished some of the more distinguished homes and buildings.

Opening of first Neil Simpson Drug Store in Tyler, 1938. Remember ordering malts and drinks while sitting at those long counters?

Located at 505 W Front St in Tyler. Bordens operated as a national company from 1867 until bankruptcy in 2020. The building to the left was built in 1927 and established the only Tyler location.
